Wilderness & Remote First-Aid is the American Red Cross accredited wilderness and remote first aid curriculum, delivered as an 18-hour, 2-day hands-on clinic in a remote Utah location. This is the next step beyond a basic first-aid course — it covers patient assessment, prolonged patient monitoring, EMS handoff, and extended patient care in austere environments where definitive care is hours or days away. OSHA-recognized and taught by former Search and Rescue EMTs who have run real wilderness calls, this course gives you a 2-year Red Cross certification and the judgment to keep someone alive until help arrives.
